Does sorcery really exist? To answer the question, we must first define sorcery and then we may observe how it works. The quote from the biblical scriptures above shows that the Bible prophets did believe that it exist.
My initial response to this question is always, "Yes, there is sorcery, but there is nothing 'supernatural' about it. Magic does not exist. A thing will seem 'mystical' - even 'magical' to any observer who does not understand the natural reality in it. The 'man in the radio' was 'magic' to those who saw it for the first time.
There is an ancient document that speaks about an alien visit to earth (Egypt in particular). This document is said to be around 24 thousand years old. The extra-terrestrials came to earth in a flying vessel and earth beings, which they referred to as 'cave-dwellers' attacked them. They reported that they had to suppress them with their staff that fired off 'light-beams' and knocked the aggressors down. After this, the earth-dwellers were subdued. The visitors explained that they came in peace. Eventually, they came up with a brilliant idea of how to 'control' these dark beings. They said they awed the earth-dwellers with 'scientific magic'. The implications here are obvious, and the result is 'sorcery'.
A wizard is a wise man - Like Albert Einstein, and a sorcerer is a 'mind-controller' or 'mind-programmer'. He places a 'spell' or legions of spells on the mind in order to alter your thinking and determine your 'outcome' by way of 'prescribed definitions' or 'predeterminations'. He must prevent you from conceiving your own internal ideas, so he applies to you a spell of esoteric, which makes you dependent for definitions and not trust your own understanding. You can be possessed by an evil idea; and a legion of adverse thoughts may transform you.
Jesus walked on water. That was a natural reality to him, but 'magic' to the unenlightened observer. Put your thumb and index finger together. There is infinity within that loop. Wherever there is a molecule, there is infinity. That truth is a natural reality to me, but a mystery to others.
It is true that our reality is completely conceived via spells and illusions. There is good and there is evil, which are paradoxical truths. Both are of the same substance in 'true reality', but different because of 'relative dynamics'. For example, the energy of sound is the same as of light. The difference is merely relative. Sound is vibrating energy. As it increases its intensity it becomes light. In the beginning was the word/sound. All matter is conceived of the same origin. The energy of these frequencies becomes the character of idea, thought, which becomes mind. They are basically spells of illusion, and we will talk about spells in a minute. So here is the secret of 'sorcery' and do not ever forget it: Mind IS Matter...
A computer hard-drive is similar to the human brain. All hard-drives are the same, but their programmings may be different. All brains are the same, but their 'mindsets' (programmings) may be different. Computers are programmed by various wares. A brain is programmed into a mindset by 'culture', cults, stereotypes, predefinitions and words often repeated. If you can control the input to the human mindset, you can determine his outcome by including 'demons' of mediocrity to his internal hardware. You can call these demons, ideas, or legions of thought 'viruses'.

Sorcery is perpetuated via spells. Wow, it is a long journey to fully understand these dynamics. Let me expose you to the most basic spell, and you will have an idea. As basic as it is, it will serve as a toe-hole for the climb to the top of the mountain.
When we put predefined letters together, we come to predetermined results. For example, we have agreed on what the letter 'A' sounds like. We have agreed on the syllables and consonants. Therefore, we can create outcomes based on these mutual principles. When we put the letters B, E, and T together in that same order, we arrive at a predetermined result. It is a word, also with a predefined meaning. Vocabulary words are not internally conceived. When we communicate via language, we are engrossed in a system ordered by principality. True communication is telepathic, but we are slaves of a human plane (Humanity=666) which is another topic for another day. Or, read 'Telling Lies & Eating Jesus'.
When we join letters together to form words, under the order of 'principality' where everything is 'controlled' and predefined, and where our minds are 'shepherded' to a design, we call it 'spelling' or 'to make spells'. This is the reality of our earth existence. You will be free from sorcery when you understand the dynamics...or, in true reality, you can never be free from a spell; you can never eradicate darkness if your light must shine. On this earth plane, all things are the same, apart from that relative degree. Understand the way of darkness, know the way of light and apply the balance to the ideal of reason. Paradise is a perpetual 'relative' degree. Climb and climb until you reach higher...rest and climb again. All these destinations are heaven beyond the last heaven...
